Comprehensive geochemical analyses of 42 artefacts and 15 archaeological and geological sources on Tupua'i island (Austral archipelago, French Polynesia) using destructive techniques: ICP-AES for major and trace elements, TIMS and MC-ICP-MS for radiogrenic isotopes, Ar-Ar dating for geochronology. The first marquesan artefact in the Austral archipelago is identified.
